Up early to make this fantastic hike. And it certainly was.
With spring approaching, still chilly this morning, but the sun made up for a lot. The birds are making themselves heard. And so are the woodpeckers, of which various species of woodpeckers were certainly visible. This route is worth repeating ❤️

A really great circular route in Gelderland near Apeldoorn, where I just had to take advantage of the sunny weather and stretch my legs on sandy ground with lots of pine trees.
The highlight was the lizard, which looked at me curiously for a moment before disappearing into the grass like an arrow.
