The pier in Ahlbeck is 280 meters long and the oldest in Germany. There is a restaurant on the platform where you can eat with the best sea view. Heinrich Lohse and Renate Lohse alias Loriot and Evelyn Hamann also dined on the pier in the comedy "Pappa ante portas".

The oldest pier in Germany, built in 1882, is probably one of the most famous and most photographed bridges in the country. Star in various film productions, the building is a must on every Usedom tour. The wooden jetty, which was only added later, extends 280 meters into the sea, and is the destination and starting point for many excursion boats.
