Informative notice boards for those interested in history. The Romans were also active here. Others enjoy the view of the Ried.

The path is also reminiscent of the Romans, who ruled here almost two thousand years ago, so in the area of the moat with the viewing platform. The letters "SPQR" are attached to a steel and stand for senatus populusque Romanus - Senate and people of Rome. Anyone who would like to know more about Roman times is very welcome in the Stadtmuseum Groß-Gerau.
