Named after pope John Paul II, this park is mainly devoted to sports pitches and facilities. There are three soccer pitches, two GAA pitches, changing facilities and an outdoor gym. There is also a 0.6-mile (1 km) perimeter track which is good for a dog walk or warm up.
The parks gates are opened and closed roughly with morning and dusk.
