Rumble Pond is a stormwater pond with Patterson Creek flowing through it, originally built in the 1980s to manage runoff from the surrounding neighbourhood. A trail loops around the pond and connects into Rumble Pond Park, with a playground nearby. The pond was later rehabilitated to improve water quality and stormwater management, so it’s a good example of green space doubling as working urban infrastructure.
