The Cudgegong River has its headwaters in the Great Dividing Range and it flows for 250 kilometres before its confluence with the Macquarie River. Much of its course through Mudgee is paralleled by riverside trails where you can stroll along the water looking for some of the wildlife that call the riparian area home.
