Broadmoor Lake is the centrepiece of Broadmoor Lake Park and one of Sherwood Park's best-known green spaces. A fully paved 1.5 kilometre trail loops around the lake, passing picnic areas, benches, wetlands, and open views across the water. Although the lake was created as part of the area's stormwater system, it has become an important urban habitat for ducks, geese, and other waterbirds, as well as a popular spot for walking, running, and community events throughout the year.
