The Ripshorstbrücke over the Rhine-Herne Canal is a noteworthy modern arch bridge with a raised roadway for pedestrians and cyclists. It was opened in 1997 as part of the International Building Exhibition Emscher Park. The roadway is 3 m wide and about 130 m long. A good opportunity to cross the Rhine-Herne Canal.
