Hyrdehøj Skov's Hjertestien (Heart Trail) is a waymarked loop through the forest. It's easy to follow thanks to rock marked with the heart symbol. Hyrdehøj Skov provides a lovely escape from Roskilde busier areas, though noise from the nearby highway can be heard on the southern section of the Hjertestien.
