San Pietro Beach (locally known as Plazhi San Pietro) is a charming and dynamically developing corner of the Albanian coast. It is located in the northern part of the Gjiri i Lalzit bay (Lalzi Bay), not far from the town of Rrotull. It is a great alternative to the crowded southern resorts, such as Ksamil or Saranda.

In contrast to the pebbly beaches of the Albanian Riviera in the south, San Pietro lies on the Adriatic Sea and offers a wide strip of soft, golden sand.
The descent into the water is very gradual and shallow for many meters, making it an ideal and safe place for families with children.
The beach is surrounded by dense, green pine forests that provide pleasant shade and a natural microclimate.

While on San Pietro beach, it is worth planning a short trip to the nearby Cape Rodon (Kepi i Rodonit), which is located a bit further north. It is a spectacular tongue of land jutting out into the sea, where the ruins of Skanderbeg's castle and a charming, historic church of St. Anthony are hidden.
