Cave de Wittenberg is a wine shop passionately run by Frans Hawinkels.
The name Cave de Wittenberg is derived from a large farmhouse, built in 1633 in Roermond, where Frans's father spent his youth. Large parts of the Roermond countryside still belonged to the Wittenberg back then, and even now this name in the center of Roermond still reminds us of it many times.
Grandma's 'inheritance' was used for Margaux 1970. Soon many occasions became special, and today three-quarters of the wine cellar is filled with 'special occasions' !!
