Absolutely a highlight and worth a visit. The ensemble of the Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady including the cloister are architecturally great buildings with a long history.

Trier Cathedral of St. Peter is Germany's oldest bishop's church and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986. The monumental structure looks back on over 1700 years of uninterrupted use as a religious center and combines architectural style elements from late Roman antiquity to the Baroque.Open daily from 06:30 to 18:00 (April to October) or 17:30 (November to March).
