Gravel riding
Weltenburg Abbey is considered the oldest monastic settlement in Bavaria. It was founded around 600 AD by Irish-Scottish monks. Since the 8th century, it has been run according to the rules of Saint Benedict. The current complex is a masterpiece of Bavarian Baroque. St. George's Abbey Church, in particular, is world-famous.
