This dead tree was not felled but allowed to remain standing in Henry Allards Park, where it was transformed into a work of art by Swedish wood sculptor Mattias Bäcklin in 2022. "Cybertotem" is intended to represent a kind of time machine. According to Bäcklin, the viewer is transported to a future without humans, in which we view our time from a new perspective and yet can still feel a sense of humility in the face of what we have achieved.
