Cycling
Due to a lack of documentation, the history of the plant is largely in the dark. The former "free aristocratic estate called Lacherbroch or zum Schlagbaum" (1741) was also called "Schiederichs Güter" before 1600. It was first mentioned in 1540 in the documents of the Duke of Berg as Laacher Gut. The house was later referred to as the Lordship of the Broich (peat quarry).
