Gorica bridge, one of the oldest and most famous Ottoman bridges in Albania, is a landmark in the city of Berat. It connects two parts of the city, Gorica and Mangalemi, and was originally built of wood in 1780. Rebuilt of stone in the 1920s, the seven-arch bridge is 129 meters long and 5.3 meters wide. The bridge rises about 10 meters above the mean water level of the Osum River. In 2015, the Municipality of Berat renovated the bridge to preserve its beauty and history.
