The fishing port of Lesconil was in earlier times the economic backbone of the place. Against the Catholic neighboring village Plobannalec the communist fishermen of Lesconil opposed the naming of their cutters. So here in the evening "Karl Marx" or "Revolution" were in port.
Today, the fishing port is still picturesque, but fishing boats and active fishermen have not been here for a few years.
