Just behind a narrow bridge the end of the upper Big Canyon Creek valley is occupied by the Ettawa Springs Resort. The main lodge has been rebuilt and should open in 2026, a couple of large cabins for guests are also renewed, and more are being added. The resort also owns the nearby campground on the steep south slope climbed by a paved road about 200 yards before the bridge.
