Located in the heart of Kananaskis Country, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park is one of Alberta’s premier mountain parks, known for its dramatic peaks, glacier-fed lakes, and extensive trail network. Covering over 300 square kilometres, the park is home to wildlife such as elk, moose, and black bears, as well as pristine alpine meadows and subalpine forests. Popular year-round, it offers hiking, kayaking, skiing, and camping, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Canadian Rockies.
