Hiking
The statue "Jan en zijn Maat" (Jan and his Mate) was designed by Eindhoven-born Marianne Vereijken. It was donated by the Eindhovens Dagblad newspaper to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the city chronicle "Jan Traverse." This column first appeared in 1962 and has continued ever since as part of the Helmond Plus supplement.
