At the end of the 15th century, reconstruction began using brick and stone, resulting in a brick church.
The church's current, single-nave, Gothic appearance stems from an expansion in 1679. At that time, the interior acquired a Baroque character.
In 1690, a church tower was built, to which a weathervane featuring a statue of St. Michael the Archangel was placed.
