A hamlet in the Municipality of Ravenna with 700 inhabitants located south of the Reno River and the Comacchio Valleys in an area reclaimed in the 20th century, nestled in the spectacular Canna Valley, a haven for numerous migratory bird species. It is famous for the nearby Guiccioli Farm, where Anita Garibaldi died in 1849 and was subsequently temporarily buried a few steps from the farm (Anita's Memorial Stone). Garibaldi later found refuge at Casale Boscoorte, located shortly after the Via degli Angeli on the Comacchio Valleys cycling and nature trail.
