Hiking

The steamboat "Traugutt" was built in 1926 in Elbląg as a passenger and cargo unit with a capacity of 700 people. After the war, it served in the Warsaw Vistula Shipping Company, sailing to Kazimierz, among others. In the 1980s, it was withdrawn from service, and despite attempts to save it, it was scrapped. Henryk Skoczek saved its paddle wheels, which in 2014 were transformed into an urban art installation - the Port Monument at Puławska Street. The project was developed by Marek Kozieł, Tadeusz Strzępek and Stefan Przesmycki. The monument is illuminated and surrounded by an alley and plants.
