Hiking
The Ville Tunnel is a drainage tunnel that runs from Götzenkirchen under the Ville River to Frechen-Königsdorf. During floods, the tunnel is used to drain water from the Erft River into the Cologne Canal and thus into the Rhine. It is an artificial tunnel with a length of six kilometers and a cross-sectional area of nine square meters. (Source: Wikipedia)
