Hiking
On the edge of Schiedam in Midden-Delfland lies the Het Wijland play polder. You can reach it by raft. Children have planted nut and fruit trees here, which still need time to grow. There are many different ways to cross the ditches: logs, rope swings, and small bridges.
The location is special because it is an archaeological site. This means that remains of ancient settlements from long ago have been found here. Some hut structures have been rebuilt.
