Hiking
Camp Roosevelt is a convenient stop along the Massanutten Trail, offering water, picnic tables, and basic facilities. It was the site of the first Civilian Conservation Corps camp in the nation, adding a bit of history to your hike. With easy access via Camp Roosevelt Road, it’s a great place to rest or resupply if you're hiking the Massanutten Trail. The campground is open from late May to mid-October and charges $10 per person. Outside of these dates, camping is free, but some facilities may not be available.
