The manor house in Buckow was first built in the middle of the 19th century as an outbuilding for the Lichterfelde manor. Only later did it become an independent property. It is said to have acquired its current form around 1900. In 1960 the estate was taken over by the LPG and redesigned accordingly. Today the house serves as a training center for agricultural professions.
The best-known resident was the local poet Anna Karbe.
