The Gamorscharte ridge, located at an elevation of 2,725 meters in the Nauders Mountains, is a landmark on the N6: Skyrun trail running section. This challenging section begins in Nauders and leads steeply uphill for 7 kilometers, gaining 1,300 meters in altitude, to the Gamorscharte ridge. From there, the ridge stretches over several peaks, with the Grosser Schafkopf peak being the highest at over 3,000 meters. The route requires a head for heights and surefootedness, but offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
