Hiking
A Herenboerderij is a small-scale, mixed farm. A cooperative of over 200 households is the owner and together they employ a farmer who exclusively produces the food they want for them. Think of vegetables, fruit, potatoes, onions and chickens. Some farms also have cattle and pigs, we in Soerendonk do not, partly because there are local farmers who keep cattle and pigs in a responsible way and supply meat. A Herenboerderij is 10 to 20 hectares in size and feeds a maximum of 500 people.
