The Vistula is a 1048-kilometer-long river that is largely unregulated and natural by European standards and the longest river in Poland. The catchment area also includes parts of Slovakia, Belarus and Ukraine. The longest watercourse in its river system is the 1213-kilometer stretch from the source of the Western Bug to the Baltic Sea (Wikipedia).

A two-level steel bridge over the Vistula, built in 1957–1959 on the pillars of the old bridge under the Citadel. This is probably one of the most photographed bridges in Warsaw. Especially the lower level. The bridge is 406 m long and has an interesting structure. A railway bridge runs right next to it.

An interesting two-level bridge, on the lower level there is a bicycle path, a pedestrian path and a tram track. You can elegantly transport yourself from the zoo to the boulevards :-).
