Rīdze Primary School is located in an impressive historic building in the heart of Riga and was originally built as a girls' school between 1881 and 1884. The architect Johann Daniel Felsko designed the building, and his work was later completed by Reinhold Schmeling. The school impresses with a neo-Renaissance facade, artfully constructed from brick and highlighted by brown bands of paint. Over the years, the building has been extensively restored, most recently in 2011, to preserve its historic character while incorporating modern standards. This renovation secured the foundation and facade, built additional rooms, and created barrier-free access.
