The Former San Diego Monastery in the historic old town of Cartagena, Colombia. Today, this striking red building houses the Institución Universitaria Bellas Artes y Ciencias de Bolívar (UNIBAC for short).
The monastery was built between 1611 and 1625 and designed by architect Simón González, who also designed the Cartagena Cathedral.
Despite modernizations, the building retains its colonial architecture. It captivates with its deep red color, white accents, and the large, colorful rose window above the main entrance.
