Hiking
At the end of the street “Zum Ehrenhain” there is a large boulder with the inscription 1914-18 (Iron Cross) 1939-45 engraved on it, surrounded by smaller boulders.
Below is the inscription:
Remember with reverence / our fallen heroes / their bravery and loyalty /
The grateful community / Barsbüttel.
29 smaller boulders are located at the foot of the oak trees in the grove of honor with the names and dates of death for the war dead of the 1st World War
Two other small boulders indicate the date of the inauguration: “Anno 06.08.1922”
