Impregnable fort of sighting and signaling dating back to 1314 wanted by the Sienese Captain Tollo di Bando Albizzeschi. Later adapted to mill (fortified mill). A secret underground passage connected it to Massa Marittima.

Molinpresso is an ancient medieval fortified mill located near Massa Marittima, built in 1314, as indicated by an inscription on the building. Today, the area, which includes the historic building, also hosts an agritourism business, the Molinpresso Agricultural Center.
