In summer, cattle often graze here, and the pasture over which the lower and better path leads is fenced off. You can get around this by taking the upper path, but crossing back to the actual path is a bit arduous.

The old Gisibodenalm building has been replaced by a new one. A stop is worthwhile for the food and the view. We came over from the Hasenhorn, but it's also accessible by car.
