The Pappelsteig is a flood path in the Fürth Oststadt district. It begins in the Stadtpark at the Engelhardtsteg and spans the meadow landscape of the Pegnitz in a northeasterly direction to the Espaner foot and cycle path An den Gärten. The path was named after the poplars, which form a three-row avenue here that shapes the cityscape.
