This "Lausker Schanze" is notable for the fact that on the top of the rampart there is a romantic ruin built in Gothic style in 1807. This served as an observation tower until the middle of the 20th century, but has since become a "real" ruin.

Hiking

The ski jump tower was built in 1807 by Gottlieb Wilhelm von Bressler. It was a two-story tower with a hunting and fireplace room and a viewing platform. In 1945 the tower burned down completely. The ruins are still impressive today. Unfortunately, the community doesn't care.
