A varied and promising path over secured paths, some of which are blasted into the rock, through the steep walls of the Untersberg.
Starting at the Mittagsscharte over the Schellenberger ice cave and to the Toni-Lenz-Hütte.

Mountaineering

A really worth seeing and beautifully landscaped climb. It leads through several tunnels and can be managed with a few ladders, some of which are steep. You should be free from giddiness, but you can manage the path without much effort, it is secured with ropes in all dangerous places. Again and again you have the opportunity to look at the Watzmann massif and the high Göll through rock openings.
An absolutely great and adventurous climb!

If you have climbed from Marktschellenberg to the Toni-Lenz-Hütte, you have the opportunity to completely exhaust yourself on the Thomas-Eder-Steig
But it is worthwhile to climb the wooden stairs leading steeply through several tunnels and to enjoy new, fantastic and dizzying views over and over again.
