Hiking

The Bahra (a tributary of the Streu, into which it flows southeast of Nordheim) rises in the middle of Urspringen at the foot of the church hill and below the Protestant church. The powerful spring is enclosed by masonry and surrounded by wrought iron railings. An extremely decorative ensemble in the middle of the village. The name Urspringen is apt here in the truest sense of the word.
