The Wehlener Grund stretches along the Uttenwalder Grundbach from the town of Wehlen to the Friedrich Märkel monument and is the starting point for numerous running and hiking opportunities.
Here you are still running on a road and there is a slight incline. Parallel to the road on the other side of the stream there is a hiking trail that you can use to walk in a more natural way if you want. Everything is shady and cool.
