Hiking

There are many benches here. The park is located directly on the Lahn. In the summer there are a few beer gardens and vineyards here.

Hiking

The green area on the Lahninsel is dedicated to the eastern English twin town of Wetzlar. Incidentally, Wetzlar and Colchester both maintain a twinning relationship with Avignon in the south of France - a triad, so to speak.

Hiking

The Colchester facility is located on an island surrounded by the Lahn and the Mühlgraben. The complex includes a sculpture park. There are also two stations of the optics course here. The old Lahn bridge, the old town, the Lahn weirs and the vegetation on the banks of the waters form an attractive backdrop and invite you to linger.
