In 1879, the master builder Robert Buntzel (1846-1897) built a villa on the 8,891 square meter plot at today's Sterndamm 82-84 for the last Johannisthal landowner, Baron Carl Trützschler von Falkenstein (1824-1891), who lived in this villa from 1880 onwards. In the same year, a stable and coach house building as well as a greenhouse were built on the site.
From 1913 to 1915, the first German female pilot, Amelie Hedwig ("Melli") Beese-Boutard (1886-1925), lived in this house with her husband (commemorative plaque at the entrance).
