The water of the stream disappears into an underground cavity (doline or chantoir) in Rue Falise and reappears in Vaux-sous-Olne in the garden of the "Villa des Hirondelles" 760 m away and 60 m lower. The underground journey lasts about 9 days. This doline has been the subject of speleological research.
