Dumbrava Sibiului Natural Park covers 960 hectares and is located 4 km from the Sibiu city center. It is a terraced oak forest, in which, in addition to oak, hornbeam, forest cherry, elm, sycamore and linden grow very well. Over 100 species of flowering plants grow in the grassy layer of the forest and mammals like deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, wild boars, mice, partridges and foxes live here also. A smooth and nice cycling trail awaits those who dare to venture into the forest.
