Hiking
The route follows the course of the Polenz river and repeatedly offers beautiful views of the water, small bank areas, and the region's characteristic rocky landscape. Due to its sheltered location in the valley, there is often a calm and relaxed atmosphere here – a clear contrast to the more frequented high trails around Bastei.
