A bronze sculpture commemorating a Polish dog who took his role as man's best friend very seriously. It was created by local artist Bronislaw Chromy and unveiled in 2001 by a German sheperd named Kety, by pulling the veil with her teeth.
Dzok was a black mongrel whose owner died of a heart attack near the Grunwaldskie roundabout in 1990. For about a year, Dzok waited for his master to reurn, surviving on snacks supplied by local residents. Only after, he allowed himself to be taken in by a new owner.
