A Fliegerbome dropped off in April 1945 was found here in May 1999 and defused. This memorial was erected in 2002 to commemorate peace and reconciliation.

So, in autumn/winter, you can only hike through this forest if it hasn't rained for a long time. I had to turn back because there were deep ruts in the trail – all filled with large puddles. Unfortunately, it went on like that for ages.
