The Gustav-Nachtigal-Denkmal in Stendal is well-suited as a small stopover on a tour through the old town and along the Uchte. Particularly beautiful is a leisurely loop from the historic Tangermünder Tor over the ramparts to the monument on Nachtigalplatz. The route is short, flat, and therefore also suitable for a relaxed bike tour or a city walk.
