The National Park Arikok (national language Papiamento: Parke Nacional Arikok) is a nature reserve on the island of Aruba in the southern Caribbean. The park covers 18 percent of the island area. The 34 km² large nature reserve is located on the northeastern part of Aruba. The main parts of the Park's rugged hills are formed by volcanic lava with quartz diorite and batholitic tonalite rocks and limestone cliffs of fossilized coral.

The Arikok National Park is really remarkable, you would hardly expect this dry nature and rugged landscape on a Caribbean island.
Explore the park not only with a tour, but also with your own rental car.
The road into the park is for normal vehicles, not a 4x4, feasible but ugly due to the oddly constructed water drains and can only be driven with damage.
