The Dennenoord Evacuation Monument in Zuidlaren (municipality of Tynaarlo) consists of a metal statue on a base of gray natural stone. The monument is also known as 'The Hell Tour'. The pedestal consists of three rectangular stones that are stacked on top of each other at an angle. The image depicts 5 patients from Dennenoord leaning on each other and supporting each other. The misery of transport is reflected in their attitude and expression.
